Two years, halloween & drag queens

This past weekend me and the mister went to celebrate our two year with Disney and our dear dear friends John and Sabrina.

Friday night we dressed up as a cowboy and an Indian and ran around Disneyland like little kids collecting candy and going our favorite rides. And Let me tell you we got sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much candy!





Saturday a little tired but excited for more Disney with john, Sabrina, Jeremy and Cynthia. We rode rides, chatted over yummy food, shopped and dressed me up like some sort or doll...long story.



Sunday we went to Long Beach to see an awesome drag show at Hamburger Mary's, made friends while we sobered up and did a little bit of vintage shopping.






All in all it was a much needed wonderfully fun and relaxing weekend. Now back to reality for a couple weeks before puerto rico with the fam.

I'm one of those people

So I have had a lot of pets right..but that's all they've ever been. I liked them well enough and when they passed it was sad, but my world was not shattered. I never understood people falling apart when they lost an animal or it died.

Fast forward to this sweet pup Poppy Appleseed ( we call her poppy or poppy seed)



Oh my gosh, I adopted her from HALO and when I walked up to the cages all the other dogs were yipping and howling , but poppy sat down and stuck her paw out. It was like she was reaching for me... or some cute fantastical imaginary connection between her normal movements and my crazy lady emotions that made her seem she intended only ME to notice.Either way, SOOO cute. She had me from that moment. I don't know if its because shes my dog ,just mine, but this dog is like my little baby. I would go mama grizzly on anyone that hurt her and I spoil her rotten. As you can see above she is gently rocked asleep while having her belly rubbed..what a life.

So, I came home yesterday and couldn't find her. She wasn't inside or outside i was freaking out. Ashley(my bestie) and I decided to go walk around the neighborhood . We got to the middle of the court and I starting sobbing. Not just crying tears, but the whole body jerking, breath sucking pounding head snot everywhere sobs. My tiny little world was beginning to tremble and shake with the hint of the idea that she wouldn't come home.

Luckily, poppy had wandered not very far and had been lounging on a couch with a neighbors all day. I'm so happy to have her and I guess I am officially one of those people. And I will gladly join the club with the rest of you :)

My weekend/week: photos, fun and family

This weekend my uncle Danny flew in from New Hampshire with he new , beautiful wife and his new daughter Massle ( maz-lee)! Saturday we all went to Alcatraz then tourist-ed it up all around SF and then Sunday we spent the day together doing fun Easter stuff. I am so glad to see my uncle Danny again and so happy to have new additions to my family.

Easter began with candy , candy, candy!


We also colored some eggs! Massle and I hid them for the adults to find.And massla and uncle Robert went swimmin...it was way too cold for the rest of us





Then we went to Benihana's for our last night together


All in all it was a wonderful weekend/week!! I love my family and can't wait to see them again.

What I Wore: JC& Fuchia love

Today is day three of the wonderful week my love has dedicated to me for my birthday. And so far its been ridiculously amazing. I was talking to my friend Ash and we both decided the amount he loves me is absurd and I am soooo blessed. I will post soon about all the fun and love.
Today we went grocery shopping( we are making GF stuffed artichokes) , later we are chilling with ash again and probably watching some D rated Zombie/horror movies!

It was nice and sunny so I decided to pair my new JC platforms with a dress, here is what I wore:

I appreciate...

Thanksgiving{like turkey day(or tofurkey)} is a nice Idea. I mean who doesn't love food, family and that ten minutes where you go around the table and say what you're thankful for.
but....
Shouldn't it be every day? I think it should because I am overwhelming blessed in my life every single minute. I get caught up in the little things, the stress , my bad moods and I just let things slip by. And I know that's okay but I want to make some effort( weekly?) on my blog to appreciate and thank those in my life!
I don't even have to think for more than a second to realize who in my life I should shower with thanks, gratitude and hugs.
MY MOMMY!!!

Diane Denning AKA mah! Is one of the most amazing, crazy , bug eyed giving , stressed, hard working women out there. She is my super woman, my shoulder to cry on , my motivator, my believer , one of my closest friends and most importantly my mommy!
She is putting my through school ( and i do not have to pay back), she helps me with anything I need( money wise) , she calms me down when i freak, she love my friends, my boyfriend, worries about me and soooooo much more. I know if I tell her thank you every day it will not be close to how much thanks she deserves.

So mommy thank you letting me hang on you all these year even though you like your space, thank you for holding my hands through skinned knees and bad boys, thank you for supporting my dreams and making them happen, and thank God for giving me to you and you to me!

I have put you through a lot and I can only hope you are proud of me because I am proud you're my mommy!
