Oh Nicolee - thank you. You gave me an incredible surprise rainbow party. I feel SO loved.

Thank you for being such a dear friend. We mesh so well it's nearly spooky - it's like Anne of Green Gables. She was an orphan shuffled from house to house as a servant for families, never treated as an equal. Her only friends were her books (which she cherished and would often get lost in) and the only confidante she had ever known was her reflection in the window pane. She spoke to her reflection in hushed tones, always wishing she could find a true friend, and a family who loved her. When she got placed at Green Gables, she asked Mirella (the woman who owned the farm), if she would finally have a Bosom Friend at Green Gables, since she had also finally been lucky enough to have been given a family, instead of placed in another farm and worked as a servant. She now had a HOME, and hoped she would indeed finally have a friend. She tells Mirella:

"Do you think I'll finally have a bosom friend--an intimate friend, you know--a really kindred spirit to whom I can confide my inmost soul? I've dreamed of meeting her all my life. I never really supposed
I would, but so many of my loveliest dreams have come true all at once that perhaps this one will, too. Do you think it's possible?"

Thank you, Nic. I believe you to be my Bosom Friend. Truly. <3
